New structure for the media landscape
The Dutch marketing blog site Marketingfacts.nl wanted to live up to its reputation as a leading authority in the marketing world with a full update of its site. The design, user-friendliness, performance: everything had to be improved. As active visitors of the site, we already had an idea or two for its improvement. The result has been a metamorphosis that even the most critical bloggers and readers are raving about.
Marketingfacts gives bloggers reams of space to explore the world of marketing. And believe us: that is a very large field! How do you let readers quickly find the news items and discussions that are most relevant to them? There lies the challenge. We drastically reduced the number of channels and gave each ‘channel’ a distinct identity. Bloggers here receive the platform that they deserve and can more clearly profile themselves as experts within their segment. Like the visitors, they too benefit from the compact, faster site.
In addition to blogs, Marketingfacts also offers information on jobs, research and trainings. This content is also matched to the new channels. Within each channel there is a continuous selection of relevant articles, jobs, experts, facts and trainings. This way visitors can quickly get a look at the most important developments.
What do they think of it?
Of course, Marketingfacts wrote an extensive blog about the development of their new site. We are happy to share this with you. Read the post ‘Nieuwe website Marketingfacts is live’ (in Dutch) on marketingfacts.nl.
