The importance of the right amount of research
As a designer, I often encounter the same pitfall when trying to find a solution for an assignment too quickly. I work on apps and websites everyday, with the goal of offering the user a seamless online experience.
It’s 10:50 AM and my phone tells me there’s a presentation in 10 minutes. I finish what I’m doing and then I hear a loud *ding*. That sound is the ringing of the bell, indicating that a presentation is about to start. Everyone in the agency is there, accounting, finance, management, developers and designers.
Last month during The Next Web Conference another edition of TNW Hackbattle took place in the Westergas factory in Amsterdam. Like previous years, where we even managed to win, we were happy to enter the battle field again.
